How to make Irish Beef Stew | Irish Traditional Stew | Stew made on Saint Patrick's Day | Beef Stew

 


Dear Viewers, Presenting to you one of my favorite stews, I am presenting to you "Irish beef stew". This very traditional Irish recipe made in every household every now and then but specially made of Saint Patrick's Day (on 17th of March every year). It is quick and you can have various versions of it (having different vegetables in it other then what I have used in my recipes). Enjoy preparing the recipe and do not forget to like and share the recipe with your friends, family, and loved ones. Your Eastwestdhaaba team __________________________________________________________ For your help, I am adding ingredients and the recipe for Irish beef stew here as well. Ingredient(s) - 4-5 cups or approximately 750 ml of beef stock/broth - 330 grams of beef (cut into reasonable size pieces) - 1 medium-sized peeled and chopped onion - 2-3 medium-sized diced carrots - 2-3 medium potatoes peeled and diced - 5-6 bunches of parsley chopped - 2 garlic cloves peeled diced - 50 grams or approximately half leek cut into small - 2-3 tablespoons of plain flour - 1 teaspoon of crushed black pepper - 1 teaspoon of thyme - 2 tablespoons barley (crushed and dried) - Salt (to taste) - 3-4 tablespoons of olive oil Preparation Time 1 hour + chopping and cutting of vegetables Servings 2-3 people Stew Preparation Recipe: Cut 330 grams of beef into small cubes. Add plain flour to beef and mix well to coat the beef with flour. Put 4-5 tablespoons of olive oil into cooking pan. Put the flour-coated beef into oil and cook until it turns to white in color. Add dried thyme to beef. stir well and add 2 tablespoons of freshly chopped parsley. Add chopped onion and mix well again. Add chopped garlic and leek. Mix well again. Add diced carrots and diced potatoes and mix well. Add crushed and dried barley. Add salt (to taste) and crushed black pepper. Mix well and add beef stock. Cover the cooking pot with a lid and let the stew cook for 1 hour. After one hour, you are ready to serve the stew. Garnish the prepared stew with parsley and eat it.
